She pointed out that in her roles as an archivist and historian the holdings “primary sources are the lifeblood of historical inquiry.” Abrams is a professor at the University Libraries and the Center for Judaic Studies at the University of Denver. “The National Archives serves as a rare treasure indeed,” Abrams said.
